After we meet at the hotel’s reception, we will have a short ride to the Napoleon’s fortress located 250 meters above sea level, with the most beautiful view of the town of Hvar and surrounding islands.

Then we proceed to Stari Grad driving near drywalls, through lavender fields and picturesque little old villages. We will stop at a few places to take some photos. One of them is near st. Roko’s chapel with an astonishing view on the Stari Grad and Stari Grad Plain (UNESCO World Heritage). Our next stop is a traditional old wine cellar (konoba) situated in Jelsa. Our host, Ivo Duboković, is a typical winemaker focused on wine quality over quantity, proven with his production and prices. He isn’t afraid to experiment so we will try numerous wines and aromatized oils such as oregano, basil and others. After the winery we will take a short ride to the family owned restaurant in the picturesque village located in the heart of the island.
